THE PAPERS

Title

Only the highest grade, museum quality fine art papers are used. Each of the photos in my gallery have a two-inch white border in addition to the photo size, thus an 8 x 12 print will be 10 x 14 with the border; a 12 x 18 print will be 14 x 20 with the border; a 16 x 24 print will be 18 x 26 with the border. In order to optimize the quality of the photos, the printer that I partner with chooses one of the papers below that highlights the photos the best. These borders can serve as a mat and they accentuate the beauty of these papers, which are as follows:

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic: (metallic semi-gloss baryta)

A silvery-shimmering FineArt inkjet paper with a specially formulated inkjet coating for Fine Art use. The natural white cotton paper contains no optical brighteners and has the characteristic Photo Rag® surface structure and sumptuous feel.

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta
(semi-gloss baryta)

A cotton base, smooth semigloss finish, with an OBA-free natural color base that gives the paper a slightly warm tone.

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth (smooth matte)

A 100% cotton, 305gsm, archival paper with an incredibly smooth surface. It looks just as silky as it feels, and is often used for reproduction of artworks originally created on smooth papers.
